FRESHi TV is the broadcast division of the FRESHi brand. The TV division began with a series titled How To Make Movies which is broadcast on digital cable and digital satellite in the United States and Canada in partnership with various producers. The series is composed of 26 fifteen minute episodes that cover every aspect of film production from scripts to camera angles to lighting, etc. An additional 26 episodes are currently in development. The series is told by the point of view of making a film on a shoestring budget. It targets a ‘tween demographic and expects more experienced young filmmakers to be looking for more advanced material. Three other series are in development. They are essentially “reality”-based productions featuring competitions and experiences of young filmmakers. The How To Make Movies series launches in July 2007 with an estimated audience reach of 7.2 million. The series will also be distributed in schools through Questar distribution and will be sold to the world market at MIPCOM in October, 2007. |
