Freshi Planet is a collection of Freshi Filmworx programs offered in schools, clubs and recreational facilities worldwide for young digital filmmakers.  Each of these programs and their participating filmmakers are connected through Freshi Flix, the interactive website for Freshi Films.  Using this website these young filmmakers can “crew up” with each other and begin, develop, shoot and complete films together from distant points around the planet without ever meeting face to face. 

Freshi Planet takes filmmaking to the level of global connectivity and invites young filmmakers to share their cultures, environments and perspectives in collaborating creatively to tell a story through film.  It has the ability to turn the academic disciplines into an interactive competition between youth.

Currently, Freshi Planet is beginning in Oregon, Hawaii, India and England.  There are discussions beginning in Ireland, Mexico, Canada and Dubai.  The ultimate goal is to have countries around the world connected through Freshi Planet so that children have full access to their peers and the knowledge and insight they can offer each other in the process of making films, sharing personal realities and competing with their films.
