The Freshi Film Festival is an annual event held in Hollywood in July as a showcase for young filmmakers and screenwriters.  The Festival is a full day at an active film studio with tours of film sets, workshops, guest appearances and face-to-face discussions with working professional filmmakers,  celebrity signings, hands-on-activities, film screenings, a screenwriter’s showcase and an awards ceremony to end of the day.  The event begins at 9AM and end at 7 PM.

The screenplays participating in the screenwriter’s showcase and the films being screened on one of three screens during the day are selected by a jury of professional filmmakers and writers , parents and active young filmmakers and writers.  The films and screenplays are submitted by schools, clubs and individuals from around the world.  All of the screenplays and films have been created by filmmakers 8-18 years of age.  The festival features and celebrates creative work “Made By Kids, For Kids™”.

The Freshi Film Festival is the competition for the films submitted through Freshi Planet and Freshi Flix along with independent projects submitted by individuals.

The Festival offers a broad menu of opportunities for sponsorship and advertising.  Standard advertising can be purchased and placed in the program book which is distributed through the year to schools, at other festivals and at conventions.  The event itself offers a sponsorship program that includes:  naming rights to awards, broadcast rights, banners, stage naming, website links and sponsorship logo placement, sampling, booth space, demonstrations/workshops and promotional hand-outs.
